Waldorf Astoria Hotel &
Branded Residences Project
Invisible Technology.
Exceptional Hospitality.
An integrated systems proposal by MSD for Project 108 and Project 196, engineered around guests, operators and the heritage of place.
CONCEPT VISUAL — NOT VERIFIED PROJECT ARCHITECTURE
A hospitality ecosystem where technology is felt, not seen.
MSD proposes a converged, secure and future-ready ELV platform: one fibre backbone, one cyber-segmented network and a coordinated set of guest, safety and building systems — designed, supplied, installed, tested and handed over as a single accountable package.
One IP backbone carrying 20+ systems with VLAN and firewall segregation.
Discreet devices coordinated with the architect's heritage palette and ceilings.
Unified operations view for security, BMS, IPTV and energy — conceptually integrated.
Two zones. Never conflated.
Each zone is assessed against its own BOQ index and consultant checklist. Switch zones to see which systems are indexed for each.

The quiet backbone behind every experience.
Dual-path single-mode fibre risers, Cat6A horizontal cabling, a redundant network core and Wi-Fi 6E — the foundation for telephony, DAS, IPTV, CCTV and building control.
ILLUSTRATIVE DESIGN CONCEPT
Converged network topology.
Illustrative MDF → IDF → field-device topology. Final rack counts, IDF locations and cable routes follow the approved drawings.
One touch. The room responds.
Engineering simulation of a guest-room GRMS sequence — each scene plays the real order of events across access control, PMS, lighting (DALI/KNX), HVAC (BACnet), curtains and IPTV. Demo only; final logic per approved control narrative.
Key card inserted → welcome scene, IPTV greeting, HVAC from setback to comfort.
Every system, one coordinated section.
Toggle layers to see how infrastructure, guest experience, safety and smart-building systems share risers, ceilings and rooms.
One view for the operations team.
Conceptual integration of BMS, security, IPTV and energy analytics — not an approved unified platform.
